// Taking inspiration from Radiohead's song Weird Fishes / Arpeggi from their album In Rainbows, experimentation was done using various mediums to replicate the style of a Young God Records vinyl album cover, but still maintain the familiarity of the band.
Process work involved taking a potato and carving out a shape of a fish. This was then used to make a stamp that would then become the central image for the vinyl cover sleeve. For the lettering of the inner vinyl sleeves, I carved letters, numbers, and symbols out of potatoes and used these as stamps to be dipped in paint. From there I made out the lyrics for my chosen six songs. The coloured swashes seen on the front and back sleeve covers were created by splattering white paint on textured brown paper. All elements were then brought together into a digital space, where I edited everything to produce the final product. //
